Upon your arrival at Seronera airstrip, you’ll be greeted by your guide for a scenic drive across the Serengeti’s sweeping plains. Upon reaching Namiri Plains camp, immerse yourself in the camp’s ambience and witness wildlife sightings from the elegant main area. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling exploration of this secluded corner of the renowned National Park with an afternoon game drive. Pause for sundowners atop the enchanting Soit Le Motonyi rock, soaking in the majestic surroundings. With the nearest camp a significant distance away, you might just feel like the sole occupants of the Serengeti!

Back at the camp, relish a delectable three-course meal while immersing yourself in the nocturnal symphony of the wilderness.

Over the following days, indulge in morning and afternoon game drives or walking safaris departing from Namiri Plains. Accompanied by seasoned guides intimately familiar with the grassy plains, rocky outcrops, and acacia woodlands, delve into the search for resident feline predators while also appreciating the diverse array of wildlife, from graceful giraffes and submerged hippos to the iconic wildebeests and majestic buffaloes, not to mention the vibrant birdlife. Day 4-6: Game Drives in Sayari

After a hearty breakfast, bid farewell to Namiri Plains with a cheerful “kwaheri” (Swahili for Goodbye) as you head to Seronera airstrip for your flight to Kogatende airstrip in the Northern Serengeti. Upon arrival, a knowledgeable guide from Sayari will greet you and lead a game drive en route to the camp. Once at the camp, a delicious lunch awaits, and you can choose between unwinding in camp or embarking on an afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle. Upon returning to camp, refresh yourself before relishing your first dining experience at Sayari, followed by the chance to gather around a traditional safari campfire for a drink and lively conversation.

Depending on your preferences, there are several options for structuring your day. One choice is to start your day early by departing camp with a picnic breakfast for a morning game drive, returning in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you can continue with another game drive or relax by the pool with a captivating book. Alternatively, you can enjoy breakfast at camp and then head out for your game drive with a picnic lunch, returning in the mid-afternoon.

Game drives are typically shared with other camp guests, but rest assured that the camp strives to accommodate your preferred schedule. Private vehicle hire is optional for added flexibility, although it should be arranged in advance.

Day 7-10: The Extraordinary Ruaha National Park

Today, your journey takes you southward to the remarkable and diverse landscapes of Ruaha National Park. Upon landing at Msembe airstrip, a guide will be waiting to welcome you, marking the beginning of your adventure in this magnificent park as you drive to Jabali Ridge. Upon reaching camp, take the time to settle into your suite and admire the breathtaking view of a baobab valley. Following lunch, the afternoon is yours to enjoy. You can opt to unwind by the pool, indulge in a relaxing massage, or venture out for an afternoon game drive to explore the park further.

In the next few days, you’ll have various options for structuring your time, which the camp managers and guides will discuss with you each evening. Begin your day with invigorating walking safaris, offering a unique opportunity to explore the environment alongside the wildlife. You can also opt for morning game drives with picnic breakfasts or enjoy a delightful breakfast at the camp. For a full-day adventure, embark on game drives with picnic lunches or savour a leisurely lunch at the camp, followed by an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, indulge in a day of relaxation at camp, pampering yourself at the spa and lounging by the swimming pool before venturing on a night game drive for a different perspective of the wilderness.

Savour your last breakfast at Jabali before bidding farewell and returning to Msembe for your flight to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival at the international airport, retrieve your luggage and proceed easily to check-in for your international flight homeward.
