After enjoying a relaxed breakfast at your Arusha hotel, your journey commences with your guide as you head towards Tarangire National Park. Here, you’ll venture into the expansive baobab-filled landscapes and vast grassy plains and encounter impressive herds of elephants that roam Tarangire National Park. Keep an eye out for tree-climbing lions and the magnificent flocks of lesser pink flamingos at the lake. The park is also home to sizable herds of buffalo and thriving populations of lions and leopards.
During the dry season, Tarangire boasts the highest concentration of mammals in the country. Wildlife enthusiasts can spot wild dogs, rare antelope like gerenuk, and over 550 bird species yearly. Our experienced and friendly guides lead captivating and informative walking safaris, offering a deeper understanding of the park’s ecosystem. Consider an unforgettable early morning hot-air balloon safari for a unique perspective, allowing you to silently glide over the wildlife and take in breathtaking views from above.
