On the Indian Ocean
Vilanculos Beach Lodge is set above the shoreline at Vilankulo, in Mozambique’s Inhambane Province, looking out across the turquoise channel to the islands of the Bazaruto Archipelago. It makes a warm Indian Ocean finale to a safari.
Twenty-one Deluxe Bungalows under traditional Mozambican thatch sit in lush tropical gardens with ocean or garden views, alongside a two-bedroom Family Suite. There is an infinity pool, a restaurant and bar, a spa and direct access to the beach.
Days go to island trips across the Bazaruto Archipelago, dhow safaris, snorkelling, kayaking, sunset cruises and deep-sea fishing, or simply to the pool and the sand. Vilankulo Airport is about ten minutes away.

Twenty-one Deluxe Bungalows each sleep two, with air-conditioning, a private deck and ocean or garden views. The two-bedroom Family Suite sleeps up to four, with a shared lounge and a private outdoor area.
