Should I stay near the airport or in the city?
Hosea Kutako International Airport is about 45 km east of Windhoek. For a late arrival or an early flight, Zannier Omaanda is 30 minutes from Windhoek and the airport. The city hotels and guesthouses are in Windhoek and Klein Windhoek.

Our self-drive clients collect their hire vehicles at Hosea Kutako International Airport.
Is there malaria in Windhoek?
No. Windhoek has no malaria.
Can I drive the Spreetshoogte Pass?
It is the steepest pass in Namibia (1:4.5 to 1:6) and drops almost 1,000 m in 4 km. Trailers and caravans are not allowed. Namibgrens is on the pass, 165 km south-west of Windhoek.
