Day-By-Day Itinerary
Day 1 - 3
Your Namibia self-drive safari begins as you arrive and head into the iconic Kalahari Desert, where rolling red dunes and open savannah landscapes set the tone for your journey. Settle into your lodge and ease into the rhythm of the desert.
Over the next two days, explore this vast reserve known for meerkats, oryx, springbok, and giraffe, while enjoying optional guided Bushman walks, quad biking, and nature drives. Evenings are best spent under endless African skies, with classic sundowners and stargazing experiences.

Day 3 - 5
Travel south to one of Namibia's most dramatic natural landmarks, the Fish River Canyon, the second-largest canyon in the world. The drive itself showcases remote desert scenery and wide open landscapes.
Spend your time exploring scenic viewpoints such as Hobas, taking in panoramic canyon views, or relaxing at the nearby Ai-Ais hot springs. For active travellers, optional hiking trails, scenic flights, and nature drives offer deeper exploration of this rugged region.

Day 5 - 7
Continue to the coastal town of Luderitz, where German colonial charm meets the wild Atlantic coastline. The colourful buildings, Art Nouveau architecture, and ocean views create a unique atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Namibia.
A highlight here is visiting Kolmanskop Ghost Town, where abandoned buildings are slowly being reclaimed by desert sand — perfect for photography and history lovers. Along the coast, spot flamingos, seals, and penguins, or simply enjoy the quiet coastal setting.

Day 7 - 8
Your journey leads back inland into the vast Namib Desert, one of the oldest deserts in the world. This region offers raw, untouched landscapes with striking contrasts between dunes, mountains, and open plains.
Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by desert silence, with opportunities for stargazing, nature walks, and scenic drives through this remote and timeless environment.

Day 8 - 10
Arrive in the world-famous Sossusvlei, home to Namibia's iconic red dunes and one of the country's top safari highlights. Early mornings are ideal for visiting Deadvlei, climbing Big Daddy dune, and capturing the dramatic desert light.
