The Windhoek Luxury Suites is a quiet hotel of 40 rooms in Klein Windhoek, set around green gardens in the heart of the capital. It is a comfortable place to land after a long flight or to rest at the end of a safari.
The rooms are styled with care, with air-conditioning, a heater, a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, a mini-bar and tea and coffee. Ground-floor suites open onto private terraces in the garden, and the loft suites upstairs have vaulted ceilings and small balconies.
A wood-decked pool is the place for an afternoon in the sun. For dinner, the three sister restaurants are just around the corner, with Namibian meat from the grill, seafood and sushi, and wines from the Stellenbosch region in South Africa.
