Galton House
Galton House is named after the explorer Sir Francis Galton. It stands on the edge of Eros, Windhoek's northernmost suburb, about ten minutes' drive from the centre of town, and it is quiet and relaxed.
Wildlife photographs hang on the walls, and the rest of the house is modern and understated. The nine guest rooms all have satellite TV, wireless and wired internet and a stocked tea and coffee station.
There is a large lounge, indoor and outdoor dining, a pool and simple gardens. A day room with a toilet, shower and space to repack helps with early arrivals and late departures, and lunch and dinner are served on request.
