Zannier Omaanda sits on the boundless savannah of the Zannier Reserve by N/a'an ku sê — a 9,000-hectare private conservation reserve in the rolling countryside east of Windhoek.
15 round thatched huts pay tribute to traditional Ovambo architecture, with a restaurant, cosy bar and heated infinity pool overlooking the bush. A spa and a boma complete the picture — a typically Namibian gathering place by the fire.
The reserve's proximity to Windhoek and the international airport makes Omaanda the ideal first or last night of a Namibian journey — close enough to be effortless, wild enough to feel a world away.
