Dead Valley Lodge sits inside the Namib-Naukluft Park — between Sesriem and Elim Dune, with the famous Dead Valley and Sossusvlei dunes on the doorstep. Luxury tented chalets open onto panoramic views of the Namib's towering red dunes and ancient mountain ranges.
The park-gate location means guests are first into Sossusvlei at sunrise — well ahead of day visitors arriving from outside the gate, with the dunes lit in their richest colour and the air still cool.
Days centre on guided morning and afternoon game drives into Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon, with Namibian-style cuisine at the on-site restaurant, drinks at the bar and quiet hours by the pool between excursions.
