Waterberg Plateau Lodge
Waterberg Plateau Lodge clings to a rock terrace half-way up the slope of the Waterberg, with eight chalets and a restaurant facing out across the endless Kalahari.
Dinner is a four-course set menu in the style of Namibian farmhouse cuisine — European-inspired dishes served as the sun drops behind the plateau.
The lodge sits inside the private Waterberg Wilderness reserve. Guided plateau hikes, honeymoon sundowner walks, rhino drives, rhino tracking, cultural tours to Hereroland and well-marked nature trails (including a botanical garden and history path) all start at the door.
