Mpala Jena
Mpala Jena is a boutique safari camp on the tree-laden banks of the Zambezi River. The camp epitomises ‘barefoot luxury’, with playfully scalloped thatched roofs, soft sand floors and a beach bar overlooking the pool and river.
Tented suites nestle in the shade of large Sausage and Jackalberry trees, each with a private deck and an outdoor bath and shower. The camp runs entirely off its own solar plant and battery.
It lies 19 kilometres inside the 56,000-hectare Zambezi National Park — wildlife is enjoyed on safari drives, boat cruises and walking trails — and Victoria Falls town is a 40-minute boat or road transfer away.

Tented suites on the riverbank, each with a shaded private veranda and en-suite bathroom with indoor shower, separate loo and double basins. The Family Suites add an outdoor bathroom with bathtub and shower, under flowing sand-coloured canvas.
