Jabali Ridge Ruaha
Jabali Ridge is a lodge in Ruaha National Park, its eight suites hidden among the rocky boulders that wrap around the property. From the dining room and decks you look out over the baobab-dotted bush.
Each suite has a deck, an outdoor shower, a fan and mosquito nets, a mini-bar and tea and coffee. Back at the lodge there is an infinity pool, a spa, a library and plenty of shady corners, so time in camp is as good as time out in the bush.
Expert guides lead game drives twice a day in open-sided six-seater vehicles, walking safaris with an armed guide and a local tracker, and night drives. Photographers can book a specialised vehicle with drop-down sides and swivel seats.

Eight suites set among the boulders, with a private deck, an indoor and an outdoor shower, a fan, mosquito nets, a safe, a mini-bar, tea and coffee, and dressing gowns.

Game drives
Open-sided six-seater vehicles with a canvas roof, power points and a fridge. Take a picnic breakfast out to eat under a baobab, and a gin and tonic in the bush at sunset.
Walking safaris
Out on foot with an experienced armed guide and a local tracker, the most intimate way to take in the sights, sounds and smells of the bush.
Night game drives
Look for the shy animals that only come out once the sun has gone down.
Photographic vehicle
Specialised vehicles with drop-down sides for low, eye-level shots, beanbags, camera rests, power points, fridges and 360-degree swivel seats.
Extra costSpa and massages
Massages at the spa between drives.
