Hakusembe River Lodge
A lush green oasis on the banks of the Okavango River, about 16 km west of Rundu on the B10. Absorb river peace from one of the 20 chalets, hop aboard the Hakusembe River Queen, stroll to the cultural village or just relax on the deck listening to the soft symphony of feathered friends.
Thatched chalets stand on green lawns under tall trees, every one overlooking the river, with a cold-water pool, restaurant, bar and curio shop.
Sunset and birding cruises, catch-and-release tigerfish fishing and visits to the Mbunza Cultural Village fill the days. From September to December, low water limits boat trips.
