Hoodia Desert Lodge sits in tranquil isolation on the banks of the Tsauchab River, framed by majestic mountain ranges and just a 20-minute drive from the Sesriem Gate — the entrance to the world-famous red sand dunes of Sossusvlei.
The lodge offers warm, personal hospitality with the friendly attention of a small family-run team. Stone-and-canvas chalets open onto private decks with sweeping desert and mountain views — a quiet, unhurried base between excursions into one of Namibia's most photographed landscapes.
Guided tours from the lodge take in Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, Dune 45 and Sesriem Canyon, with Namibian-style meals in the restaurant, a bar for sundowners and a swimming pool to unwind beside on hot afternoons.

Stone-and-canvas chalets with a king bed under flowing mosquito nets, private balcony or deck looking out across the Tsauchab riverbed and the mountains beyond. Air-conditioned, with a detached private bathroom, bath, shower and pure cotton linen.
