Swakopmund Guesthouse is owned and run by the Borg family, in the town centre and a five-minute walk from the beach and the main shopping area. The owners are close by at all times, so service is personal.
There are fourteen rooms: five standard rooms, six more spacious luxury rooms and three suites with their own lounge and fireplace. Every room has air-conditioning, underfloor heating in the bathroom, a minibar, a television and a coffee station.
It is a bed and breakfast with a generous breakfast buffet. The guesthouse runs on solar energy, has wheelchair-friendly rooms and secure parking, and offers a complimentary shuttle.

Five rooms with an en-suite bathroom with underfloor heating, air-conditioning, a minibar, a television and a coffee station.
Six rooms with more space than the standard rooms. Most can be made up as family rooms for two adults and two children under 13.
Three suites, each with a separate lounge and a fireplace, with room for an extra bed or two. The family suite has two bedrooms, a small kitchen and a large lounge.

Beach breakfast
A 15-minute walk along the beach to a private breakfast set up on a small dune facing the Atlantic, then a slow walk back.
The beach and the town
The beach and the main shopping streets are a five-minute walk from the door.
Out on the water
Boat cruises, kayaking and sea kayaking can be arranged from Swakopmund.
In the air and on horseback
Scenic helicopter flights, paragliding and horse riding are offered near town.
