Where is the Strand Hotel?
On the Mole in Swakopmund, a historic site with the Atlantic Ocean on three sides and the Namib dunes on the fourth.
Which rooms face the sea?
The sea-facing Standard Rooms, Luxury Room 3, the Junior Suite, the Luxury Suite and the Presidential Suite all face the sea. Luxury Rooms 1 and 2 are partly sea-facing; the Standard, Family and Enabled rooms on the land side do not.
Where can you eat at the Strand Hotel?
Brewer & Butcher (meat, wine and beer from its own brewery), Ocean Cellar (seafood, oysters and wine), the Farmhouse Deli (breakfast, cakes and coffee), the Welwitschia Lounge (cocktails on a sea-facing terrace) and Café Mole on the beach.
Is there a spa at the Strand Hotel?
Yes. The Atlantic Spa has individual crystal steam rooms, rain showers, a relaxation lounge, a garden terrace and an outdoor couple’s therapy suite, and the hotel has a gym.
