On the Xakanaxa Lagoon — deep in the Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango Delta
Set beneath a canopy of giant ebony trees on the edge of the Xakanaxa Lagoon, Camp Moremi looks out over one of the richest game areas in the Okavango Delta — a classic safari camp where water and wilderness meet.
Twelve luxury safari tents are raised on timber decks, each with a private veranda over the lagoon. Days are split between land and water, and evenings unfold in the soaring thatched Moondance lounge and around the open fire.
Game drives in open 4x4s seek out lion, leopard, elephant and wild dog, while boat cruises and mokoro outings glide through papyrus channels alive with birds and hippo — a fully inclusive Delta experience.
