The Camp
Little Sable
Little Sable is in the heart of the Khwai Private Reserve in the Okavango Delta. It is the smaller sister camp to Sable Alley: relaxed and personal, with good game viewing in one of the most productive parts of the Delta.
There are only eight traditional safari tents, raised on wooden platforms to make the most of the view over the grassland. Each has a king-size bed that can be made up as twins, a ceiling fan, an en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and a private verandah.
The lounge, bar and dining areas open onto a long deck and fire pit, looking over a favourite grazing spot for zebra and elephant. There is a pool for the hot hours, and days are spent on game drives, mokoro and boat trips, and birding.

Game drives
Morning and afternoon-into-evening drives on the Khwai Private Reserve with your safari guide.
Mokoro trips
Poled through clear channels among the lily pads and sandbanks in a traditional mokoro.
Boating
Boat trips on the waterways, looking for birds, crocodile, hippo and game coming down to drink, with a sundowner on the riverbank.
Catch-and-release fishing
Fishing with a guide, a good activity for families. Catch and release only.
Ranger experience
A morning out with the Khwai Private Reserve rangers, tracking, patrolling and visiting conservation projects, with breakfast in the bush.
Extra costKhwai Village visit
A cultural visit to Khwai Village next to the reserve: the kgotla, the pre-primary school, basket weavers and a traditional healer.
