Khwai Lediba
Khwai Lediba is in the private Khwai Community Concession in the north-east of the Okavango Delta, right on the border of the Moremi Game Reserve. Moremi was set up by the BaTwana tribal authorities on their own land, and its pans, floodplains, lagoons, grassland and woodland are full of wildlife.
The tents have a deck and verandah, an outdoor shower, a fan, mosquito nets and a safe, and the minibar is included. The main area has a dining room, a lounge, a bar and a boma, with a pool for the afternoons. Children are welcome from 12 years.
Days are spent on game drives in the Moremi Game Reserve, on walks and on mokoro trips on the Khwai River. On the afternoon drive the guide stops for sundowners before carrying on as a night drive.

Things to do
Game drives
Drives in an open 4x4 into the Moremi Game Reserve in the early morning and late afternoon, when the animals are most active.
Sundowners and night drives
On the afternoon drive the guide sets out drinks and snacks at a quiet spot for sunset, then carries on with a night drive.
Walking safaris
Walks with expert guides, looking at tracks, insects, plants and the land.
Mokoro safaris
Gliding along the shallow Khwai River in a dugout canoe, poled by a local guide.
Seasonal birding
Look for the African fish eagle, the saddle-billed stork, the African skimmer and Pel's fishing owl.
Khwai Village
A visit to the Khwai Village preschool, supported by the African Bush Camps Foundation, with the chance to help at the nutrition programme.
Scenic helicopter flights and high tea are also offered. Ask us about prices when you book.
