Khwai Leadwood
Khwai Leadwood is in the Khwai Community Concession, on the edge of the Moremi Game Reserve, the oldest protected part of the Okavango Delta. The camp sits under a canopy of trees right beside the Khwai River, which divides the concession from the reserve.
From the private decks, guests watch elephant, hippo and other animals cross the river. The tents have an outdoor shower, a fan and mosquito nets, and the camp has a pool, a bar and a shared dining area.
Khwai Leadwood is built with families in mind. Days are spent on game drives, night drives and walks, and on mokoro trips on the Khwai River in season, while the Ngwana Club keeps children busy with their own safari adventures.

Mokoro safaris
Gliding along the shallow Khwai River in a dugout canoe, poled by a local guide.
Birding
Look for the African fish eagle, the African wood owl and Pel's fishing owl.
Cultural visits and Ngwana Club
Visits to the local community, and the Ngwana Club for children with nature walks, cooking, storytelling and crafts.
