The Camp
Kanana
Kanana stands on the Xudum River in the south-west of the Okavango Delta. The islands here are covered in palms, figs, ebony and knobthorn trees, and the water and woodland bring in a great many birds.
There are eight safari tents, well spaced for privacy: seven twin or double tents with an en-suite bathroom and a large walk-in shower, and one family tent with two bedrooms that sleeps up to five.
The camp is a good choice for families, with children welcome from six years. Days are spent on game drives and walks, on mokoro trips through the channels, including visits to a heronry, and fishing.
