Moremi Crossing
Slow down and smell the wild sage at Moremi Crossing. Whether tracking wildlife on foot or moving silently through the waterways on a mokoro, time slows down in Gunn’s Private Concession, across from the famous Chief’s Island.
Nature walks and water-based explorations are the camp’s forte — learn to track, discover medicinal plants and roam between lofty termite mounds — and seasonal game drives are now on offer too.
The camp fits into the island’s riverine forest of palms and ancient trees, with views of the Boro River. Sixteen spacious en-suite tents on raised decks include a family tent and a honeymoon tent.

The Rooms
Tents elevated on wooden platforms with a small private deck over the Boro River and Chief’s Island, twin or king beds, a writing desk and en-suite solar-heated outdoor shower and flush toilet. The family tent has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
