Meno a Kwena
Meno a Kwena is perched on a rocky clifftop above the Boteti River, on the edge of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. From up here the ten tents look down on the animals at the water: elephants coming slowly down the banks, antelope drinking, and predators never far away.
For part of each year thousands of zebra arrive at the Boteti on their migration, and you can watch it from the deck, the pool or your own veranda. Some of the best game viewing here happens without leaving camp.
Each tent has an indoor bathroom, a private outdoor shower and a veranda with a day bed. Children of all ages are welcome. Beyond camp there are walks with Bushmen, a floating hide on the river, boat trips, drives in the national park and nights out on the salt pans.

Six tents with two queen beds (they cannot be split) and views over the river into the national park. Room for two adults and two children, with an indoor en-suite, a private outdoor shower and a veranda with a day bed.

Things to do
Bushman walk
Families of Ju/'hoansi Bushmen from Xai Xai share their knowledge of the hunter-gatherer way of life on a walk near camp.
Floating hide
A hide on the Boteti River for close views of the wildlife and birds from water level. Picnic lunches can be arranged.
Boating on the Boteti
A cruise along the river, watching the animals drink and bathe, with a sundowner as the sun sets.
Makgadikgadi game drives
A transfer of about 90 minutes to the park gates, then a day looking for game, with lunch on the banks of the Boteti.
Salt pans sleep-out
A night on the open salt pans with a campfire dinner and a sky full of stars. Needs a stay of at least three nights and two guests.
Community visits
Visits to nearby rural communities for a look at traditional Batswana life.
The salt pans sleep-out depends on the weather and on the pans being dry, and must be booked ahead. Ask us about prices when you book.
