Nooishof Guesthouse
Nooishof is a small guesthouse in the Sinclair Nature Reserve, on the C27 route through southern Namibia. It is a farm-style home with four suites, mixing modern comfort with country charm.
The farmhouse holds the kitchen, a lounge, a library, a wine cooler and a self-service bar, and a terrace looks out over the reserve. There is a pool in the garden.
Food is farm-to-table: bread baked fresh, eggs from the Nooishof chickens, honey from the hives and vegetables and herbs from the kitchen garden, served as family-style dinners. Guests can pick from the garden or learn to make bread, pasta or jam.

The Rooms
Suites Frankie, Leila and Scout have twin beds that convert to a king, a fireplace, a bar fridge and a private patio with sun loungers. Suite Tahlula is a family room with a king-size bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds, for two adults and two children up to 15. Each has a bathroom with a shower, his and her basins and a separate toilet.

A drive across the Sinclair Nature Reserve to a viewpoint, with drinks and snacks for sundowners.
Nature walks
Well-marked trails through the rugged country of the reserve, with wide views.
E-biking
E-bikes and marked routes for beginners, and harder routes for those who want a challenge.
Kitchen garden
A wander through the garden to choose what goes in the salad, or a lesson in making bread, pasta or jam.

When to go
May to September is the cool, dry time, with sunny days and cold nights. October to April is hot, and most rain falls from January to March. Tap or hover over a month for more.
