We had an absolutely incredible lifetime experience of 21 days traveling in Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe; all planned, organized and orchestrated by Jaun and Viola. They crafted our customized trip with absolute attention to every detail and request, patiently dealing with sometimes unreasonable volume of questions or concerns.Everything was done to ensure maximum comfort, security, logical directions, and navigational details.Thanks to Jaun and Viola, we did not encounter any issue or glitch.Since the time we landed in Windhoek and were assisted with buying a SIM card and comprehensive instruction of the car handling for our self-drive part, through flying to Botswana Delta, superb experience cruising Chobe River, and Orient-Express time on Bush Train adventure in Victoria Falls; they were behind the scenes to ensure 100% satisfaction. Dealing with Jaun and Viola was a pleasure. They made a once in a lifetime experience even better with their professionalism, enthusiasm and dedication. Everything they organised during our 13-day self-drive through Namibia was impecable. We saw most of the varied landscapes of this great country and had a memorable experience. It was easy and everything went smoothly. The recommendation for activities and restaurants were spot on. My recommendation on the 13 day self-drive tour would be:1. Take the hot-air balloon option near Sossusvlei2. Take the 4x4 dunes drive to Sandwich Bay3. Skip Damarland and ask for two nights on the Skeleton Coast4. Listen to Jaun and Viola and you will see all that Namibia has to offer. I wish Desert Tracks were operational in other countries, I would certainly use them everywhere.

Already made the reservation from Belgium and the driver / guide was punctual at our hotel at 7 am. The starting time depends on the tides. Enjoyed information along the way, you stop where you want and you enjoy an incredible experience. Dunes, sea, a real experience. A well-prepared lunch is provided during the afternoon. The cars are also brand new.

Crossion Tour
We spent a day with Jaun across the incredible dunes of lower Skeleton Coast: it has been fantastic! We decided where to stop and for how long talking to him and telling him our wishes and expectations about the day. He gave us great suggestions and took us in the right places to have the perfect views we were looking for. We were so busy taking pictures that we had our lunch at 4pm ( a very good lunch on top of that )

We have experienced a unique experience to cross the dunes of Sandwich Bay It is not easy to describe the emotion: we have traveled the world but such a special place we had never seen so high Dunes that end up in the ocean, animals in the wild and an adventurous journey between sand and sea waves that reached the jeep. A special thanks to Hans who made us have a lot of fun running on the dunes and sometimes riding on the water! I definitely recommend it!

Fortunately only 3 passengers on this tour. We now had sufficient space on the back seat and our photographer had plenty of space in the front.It started with the Walvisbaai esplanade showing the flamingoes and pelicans in abundance. After entering the sand-dunes reserve, we drove along the shoreline, with the upcoming tide making our round trip to old Sandwich Harbour quite adventurous.Then a few roller coaster rides on the sand-dunes ending at a top with a view on the ocean for a healthy lunch.All in all a day filled with adventure; only to be enjoyed with a knowledgeable driver!We did like it. What a lovely adventures experience to drive with Jean through the dunes and over those dunes on the way to Sandwich harbor. Going down the back of the dunes at an angel that makes the sand move in front of the vehicle is a scary experience, but not once did I feel uncomfortable with Jean behind the wheel.

Wir hatten eine individuelle Tour mit Desert Tracks gebucht. Pünktlich holte uns Andre früh am Morgen im Guesthouse ab. Der Weg nach Walvisbay war kurzweilig, dank der ausführlichen Informationen zur bevorstehenden Tour. Das Wetter spielte leider nicht so ganz mit, wie gehofft. Der Nebel hing über Walvisbay und der angrenzenden Wüste. Die Fahrt entland der Langen Wand war dennoch sehr eindrucksvoll. Andre ging auf alle Wünsche ein und wir machten viele Stops. Dabei wurde nie auf die Uhr geschaut, ein bisschen mussten wir aber dennoch die Gezeiten im AUge behalten. Am Sandwich Harbour waren wir alleine und genossen die einzigartige Landschaft. Der Snack in der Wüste war ein willkommender Snack und sehr lecker! Die Tour, die Dünen rauf und runter, gefiel besonders unserem Sohn. Klasse! Wir haben die Tour sehr genossen! Ein großes Lob und einen Dank an Andre! Guter Job 🙂 Desert Tracks können wir nur empfehlen!
